Orientation Webinar: Parent-to-Parent Panel

Join us to hear from a panel of current families who will discuss their experiences as Bates parents and how to support students in their first few weeks on campus. Moderated by the Bates Parent Team, this session is the first in our new family orientation series.
You may pre-submit questions via the registration form, and we will take questions during the event as well.
This webinar is open to the parents/guardians of members of the Class of 2028, and pre-registration is required.
This webinar will not be recorded due to privacy protocols, but the Bates Parent Team will post a summary of key discussion points and shared resources mentioned in the session within 1 week after the conclusion of the event.
Topics will include:
- What they wish their students had packed, tips on travel to campus, and suggestions for local resources
- How to support your student in their first few weeks
- Making your own transition to college parent
- How to get engaged with Bates as a parent
- And more!
