On behalf of the entire volunteer committee, thank you to the 132 faculty and staff
members who generously participated in the 2024 Community Giving Campaign. Together,
we raised an incredible $29,381 for local nonprofits supported by the United Way of
Androscoggin and Oxford Counties, MaineShare, and Community Health Charities. We are
truly proud of what we’ve accomplished as a community and deeply grateful for your
support in making a positive impact locally.

A special thank-you to our dedicated committee members—Adrienne Shibles ’91, P’26, Amy
Douglass, Audrey Burns ’17, Ben Peck, Darby Ray, Justin Good, Mike Milliken, Nate
Menifield, and Sonja Harris—who worked tirelessly to raise awareness, promote the
campaign, and show appreciation to participants. Your efforts were vital to this year’s
success.

As we step into the new year, we celebrate the amazing contributions from our Bates
community. Raffle winners will be contacted by committee members, and all prizes will be
sent via interoffice mail later this month.
