About
Ph.D., Physics, The College of William & Mary
Erin De Pree joins Bates College with 14 years of faculty experience. She especially enjoys teaching Quantum Mechanics. Her doctoral thesis was on finding extra dimensions and heavy leptons at colliders. Since then Dr. De Pree has shifted focus to curricular development and astronomy.
Although Dr. De Pree has spent the last two decades in Maryland and Virginia, she grew up in Michigan, so there is a high probability of her surviving her first winter in Maine!
