Mark is an equity portfolio manager on the Global Stewards Team. Global Stewards is a concentrated, long-term oriented investment strategy. Portfolio companies are selected for their potential to sustain or expand high returns-on-capital and for exemplary corporate stewardship.
Mark joined Wellington in 1994 as a global industry analyst covering the nonbank financial services sector. Thereafter he served as director of global industry research from 2002 to 2017. Prior to joining Wellington, he worked in the corporate finance group at Advest, Inc.
Mark earned his MBA from Dartmouth College (Tuck) and his BA in economics from Bates College. He is an FSA Credential Holder, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute. Mark has worked with the Pacific Pension Institute for 9 years and serves on its Membership Committee. He is a third-term Trustee at Bates College where he chaired the Investment Committee for six years.
