Terrence J. Murray founded Eliot Street Capital, a New England focused commercial real estate investment company, in 2006. Terry has over 25 years of experience in the acquisition and financing of real estate assets. Prior to starting Eliot Street Capital, Terry was a Principal at CrossHarbor Capital Partners, investing in value add-oriented commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States. Before that, Terry was a corporate attorney at Ropes & Gray where he concentrated on mergers and acquisitions and venture capital investment transactions.
Terry is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Providence Country Day School and the Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts. He is also a former member of the Mass General Brigham Real Estate Committee and the Board of YouthBuild Boston.
Terry received an A.B. at Harvard University (1989) and a J.D. at Boston College Law School (1994).
Terry is married to Nicole Shurman Murray. They have three children and live in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Their youngest child, Sadie, is a member of the Bates Class of 2023.
