To All Bates Staff–

On the heels of President Jenkin’s invitation yesterday, the Climate Survey Working Group would like to thank you in advance for participating in the Employee Engagement and Well-being Survey! As of this afternoon, over 23% of staff have taken the time to share their feedback and start the process of building a Better Bates Together.

Some important points to remember and share with colleagues:

• The survey is open from February 27th through March 29th
• All employees should be encouraged to participate in the survey during work hours and be paid for this time
• The online survey can be accessed through various devices (computer, cell phone, tablet) as well as in multiple languages that can be selected in the drop-down menu
• For staff with limited access to computers, we will be reserving computer lab hours in Ladd Library beginning next week. We are also offering scheduled Zoom sessions throughout the survey period to answer any questions about the survey or the process. For more details, please visit our website, Staff Engagement and Well-Being Survey

• To request paper surveys with pre-addressed stamped envelopes directly to the vendor
• To request that we deliver a short presentation from the working group sharing the background and reasons for the survey 
• To request assistance with technology support or language interpretation
