ADV: Gift Planning Stewardship Intern (S99878)
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
The Gift Planning Stewardship Intern will write hand written thank you notes to Phillips Society members. The Phillips Society recognizes Bates alumni, parents, and friends who plan to provide legacy gifts to the college through an estate plan or other financial arrangement. The student who writes these notes should understand the impact planned gifts have on the college and be able to express their appreciation to Phillips Society members. Students will be required to work at least 5 hours a month.
The Gift Planning Stewardship Intern can create their own schedule and write thank you notes from anywhere on campus. A weekly email check-in is required to provide an update on progress, as well as a monthly in-person check-in to drop-off completed notes and pick-up new assignments.
