Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
The Social Media Coordinator must organize and execute outreach via social media applications like Facebook and Twitter that advances the goals of the department to increase the visibility our work in the local community and in raising awareness of the department to prospective students
The Social Medial Coordinator will create and post regular, if not daily content for the department’s Facebook page, Twitter account, etc. The student will also coordinate messaging with the Department Chair.
The social media coordinator works in a computer based environment and frequently uses the computer and digital photographs.

Requirements
The social media coordiantor must be a student in good standing and must be familiar with Facebook, Twitter, etc. It is also desired that he or she is a student in Theater or Dance and has an understanding of marketing and the arts.
