The Registrar’s Office is looking for responsible, organized individuals who can work independently in an office setting to assist Registrar’s Office staff with administrative and operational tasks. Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail are imperative. Successful candidates must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities

Responsibilities


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Staffing the front desk, including greeting and directing visitors when they arrive at the office. • Providing basic information to and answering commonly asked questions for students, faculty, staff, and families. • Connecting students, families, faculty, and staff with the appropriate Registrar’s Office staff member when needed. • Answering and routing incoming phone calls. • Filing and records maintenance, to include photocopying and indexing documents. • Processing incoming documents and mail. Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements


• Excellent attention to detail in maintaining and recording student records. • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. • An aptitude for providing excellent customer service. • Including strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple demands. Training will be provided, but some experience working in an office setting is desired. Candidates should feel comfortable handling inquiries from a variety of audiences, sometimes during periods of high demand. Open to students of all class years.

Reporting


Works closely with the Administrative and Office Coordinator and in conjunction with all members of the Registrar's Office team. Interacts with students, families, faculty, and staff.

Working Conditions


This is an office-based position but light lifting may be required.
