Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Conference & Events Office focuses on providing support for campus and community events. Coordinating small and large-scale events that use multiple venues and services on campus such as summer programs, residence hall accommodations, meeting rooms, special event space, catering and parking. The office acts as the central point of contact for both internal and external clients providing accurate information and handling requests for conferences, campus, meetings and events.

- Assist in office duties. - Assist in setting up and/or working events.

Requirements


- Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to work independently. - Professionalism - Must be able to meet deadlines. - Attention to detail and good customer service skills - Previous office experience desired. - Accurate data entry, excellent organizational skills

Reporting


Reports to Offices of Conferences & Campus Events. Works closely with events and dining staff.

Working Conditions


- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. - Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment up to 35 lbs.
