SA: Well-Being at Bates Intern (S99817)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Well-Being at Bates program seeks two (2) interns to support programming for students across the nine (9) Dimensions of Well-Being. We know that definitions of well-being are culturally defined and unique for each individual and that well-being can be uniquely challenging for college students who have many academic, extracurricular, and social demands that can affect their ability to thrive. Our lived experiences and identities affect the ways that we’ve experienced and cultivated well-being before Bates, the ways that we arrive at Bates, and how we engage with our environment and experience well-being at Bates. Well-Being at Bates aims to support students to define what well-being means for you and to take ownership of and action in your well-being journey..

Well-Being Interns will assist in developing and facilitating engaging health promotion programming open to all Bates students.
