Resource Representative responsibilities include:
● Attending all mandatory training sessions and resource representative meetings
● Attending all scheduled time at the Resource Representative desk
● Checking email daily for tutoring-related updates and announcements. Responding promptly to messages from students, faculty, and SASC professional staff. Arranging, in
advance, for a substitute when unable to work a regularly scheduled shift at drop-in hours.
● Greeting students at desk and direct them to appropriate campus resources
● Matching students seeking a tutor with the appropriate tutor
● Accurately recording student usage of SASC and Student Writing and Language Center (SWLC) resources
● Answering general inquiries
