Writing and Speaking Support
Need Help Developing or Refining Your Poster or Presentation?
The Student Writing & Language Center (WLC) tutors are excited to hear about your Summit research and ready to ask you questions that will help you get clearer on what you want to say and how you want to say–or present–it to your audience. There are three ways to find a WLC tutor who can support you in your Mt. David Summit presentation goals:
You can log into our tutoring app, Penji, and search for tutoring by your subject area (like, “Writing in Anthropology” or “Writing in Physics”) or by the subject “Presentation Speaking Support.” That will show you which WLC tutors specialize in supporting you in your presentation and public speaking goals or in the specific area in which you are writing a presentation. From there, you can book an appointment or drop-in to the WLC (ground floor) during the hours listed in Penji for the type of support you want.
Or you can drop by and see us on the ground floor of Ladd Library during any of our Hours of Operation. There will always be someone there to talk with you about your presentation goals at these hours:
