3D Printing

The VizLab maintains several models of 3D printers:

-Bambu Lab X1E

-Bambu Lab A1 Mini

-Formlabs Form 3+ (SLA printer)

We are capable of printing with materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, nylon, elastic, metal, wood, and various resin materials on our SLA printer.

Laser Cutting

The Glowforge Pro is a 3D laser printer, meaning it can cut, score, and engrave various materials, including wood and acrylic. It is run through a web-based app, which we maintain access to. It can be used by faculty and students for academic use. We have a library of various Proofgrade materials from Glowforge for open use; for larger/long term projects, we may request that you provide your own materials.

Miscellaneous

The VizLab is stocked with materials and tools for finishing 3D printed and laser cut objects, including glue, sandpaper, files, dremels, soldering equipment, and more.
