Our Last Week at MDIBL. Post by Roshni Mangar (’16 at COA)
This past week has been full of events, goodbyes and memorable moments.
On Tuesday we presented our poster at the student symposium at MDIBL. After the poster session, we listened to our fellow colleagues give their presentations. Every presentation was intriguing in it’s own way. After the presentations we proceeded to the student recognition dinner. The dinner consisted of lobster, corn, mussels, and blueberry pie!!
On Wednesday we all went to Pirate’s cove and played mini golf. It was my first time playing mini golf! Along with our lab, there was the Disney Lab and Karen James with her interns.
On our last night, we went out to dinner with Larissa at Café This Way! The food was delicious; we had great conversations with an air of melancholy.
Early morning Friday we went on a hike to watch the sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain. It was very foggy but the view was beautiful.
After our wonderful hike, it was finally time to say goodbye. We were all saddened with the end of this internship but very grateful for this opportunity. We have all made friends here, which we will cherish for a long time ☺
